Our Team

The people who make Harvester Hill possible.

Family, grit, and a lot of sweat and diesel — meet the crew behind the field.

Heather

Heather

Founder

Heather is the driving force behind Harvester Hill. A self-described amateur with an ambitious vision, Heather combined the audacity to dream big with the work ethic to see it through. None of this would have been possible without the support of her family, whose dedication made the vision a reality.

Rick

Rick

Builder · Hauler · Gopher-trapper extraordinaire

When Heather announced she’d purchased an entire cross-country course — 76 fences, to be exact — Rick didn’t blink. He’s always ready to help construct water jumps and banks, and it was Rick who recognized that a dressage arena was the perfect Christmas gift.

Off the ranch, he’s frequently found volunteering at the stadium in-gate, where his background as an accountant serves him well — he keeps both his numbers and his gate order precise.

Chipper

Chipper

Equipment operator

A skilled equipment operator capable of running machinery well beyond his years of experience. Chipper provides much of the physical labor and technical operation behind the scenes at Harvester Hill, handling the heavy lifting that keeps the property running.

Gracie

Gracie

EMT · Nursing student

A certified EMT and nursing student at Sam Houston State University, bringing valuable medical expertise to every schooling show. Should an emergency arise, Gracie is fully equipped to respond. She also lends her artistic eye to the property, regularly repainting jumps and maintaining the course’s polished appearance.

Grace Dawson

Honorable Mention

Heather’s grandmother, pictured at age 74 building a cross-country jump at Morven Equestrian Park in 1995. An exceptional horsewoman and role model, Grace’s example continues to inspire Heather’s own dedication to the sport.
